Vaishno Devi is one of the holiest Hindu temples dedicated to Shakti, located in the hill of Vaishno Devi, Jammu and Kashmir, India.
The study aims to provide analytical economic and policy inputs towards Strategic Petroleum Reserves planning in India and would be value adding in terms of identification of criteria for short-listing locations and funding options, assessment of costs and ownership options as well as the economics of a petroleum storage hub.
The India part of the sixth State of the Planet conference will be hosted by TERI, on March 25, 2010 at the Taj Mahal Hotel, New Delhi from 4.30 PM to 8:30 PM. The theme for the session is "What is the basis of the Global Climate deal?".
The project proposes to design EFR instruments for a selected set of environmental and resource management issues in India, taking into account several consideration such as efficiency and cost effectiveness of the instrument, its distributional and equity impacts, fiscal implications and also the administrative feasibility and flexibility.

The Report to People on Environment is being prepared for Ministry of Environment and Forests. The report will present the state of the environment of the country and initiate public debate on their inclusion in issues related to environment management in the country.
The project is intended to carry out in-depth study of predominant 7 types of clamp kilns mainly in peninsular states of India in consultation with CPCB for evaluation and improvement in design of clamp kilns used for brick manufacturing.
