The Community Led Total Sanitation (CLTS) approach concentrates on achieving sanitary behaviour outcomes by the entire community aided by appropriate ways to ignite change, along with the recognition for communities securing the desired outcomes of an open defecation free environment.

Carbon membrane for water treatment

The objective of this study is to prepare and characterize carbon membranes, assess their filtration performance and compare the performance with commercial products. The preparation of the carbon membrane involves coating a slurry of powdered activated carbon mixed with binder on biomass fly ash filter supports.
