International climate finance (ICF) is a vital means for supporting the implementation of nationally determined contributions (NDCs) of emerging and developing countries and facilitating the enhancement of climate ambitions. The overall aim of the project is to explore the implementation of NDCs in different geographies, and how this can be supported through ICF.
The main objectives of this project are to prepare detailed feasibility report, detailed project report, bid evaluation services, and supervise the installation and commissioning for setting up a suitable capacity floating Solar PV plant in JNPT, Mumbai.
A waste-to-energy (WTE) plant is a concept that is now being widely considered, which uses the segregated waste in order to gen
The main objective of this project is to install a solid waste treatment plant based on TERI's Enhanced Acidification and Methanation (TEAM) technology at NTPC Farakka. This plant would treat 200 kg of organic waste generated from the kitchens. TERI will supply the TEAM equipment, erect, and commission the plant.
The objective of the project is to study the thermal degradation kinetics of selected biomaterials during biomass gasification. It also aims to analyze, model, and validate at laboratory scale the time dependent thermal degradation processes in terms of temperature, biomaterial parameters, and the process output.
FISE in collaboration with the Tata Trusts Clean Cooking Alliance, Sambodhi Research, Nexleaf Analytics and 4 other implementation partners is leading this initiative.
Studies linking the impacts of climate change on glaciers and meltwater availability, and associated impacts on livelihood of local communities are missing. This makes it difficult to understand the real impacts of glacier melting on local livelihood except oft quoted statements about the dependence of downstream communities.
The main objectives of this project are to: (1) Design of nano-probes loaded with probe derived against proposed bio-active molecules which are either metabolites/proteins/peptides (polyamines/ Brassinosteroids/Jasmonides/ signal peptides/antioxidants); (2) Establish a robust reproducible extraction methodology for metabolites/ proteins/ peptides sourced from
TERI, India and Deakin University, Australia are two destinations in the world that are actively engaged in nanotechnology based research on agriculture, material science, food storage and safety.
