Energy Efficiency study at Colombia
This programme is one of the five courses being offered by TERI under the ITEC (Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation programme) /Special Commonwealth Assistance for Africa Programme (SCAAP) of the Government of India. This course, Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency, will be held from 05 to 23 January 2009 for about 30 participants.
Roundtable Discussion on `Indian Power Sector and Climate Change: Issues and Opportunities?
This project, phase-2 of the study (FY 2008-09), would build on the results of the Phase-1. The study is expected to deepen the understanding of energy conservation opportunities in some of the sectors covered in Phase-1 as well as initiate research in some of the important industrial sectors not covered during Phase-1 of the study.

TERI has developed a methodological framework to estimate the carbon footprint of urban energy use. This framework is being applied in two cities (one Indian and one Chinese city) to estimate their urban household energy footprint in terms of carbon equivalent emissions
Objective of the project is to develop Project Design Document and Project Information Note for 4.5 MW Hydro Power Project near Belgaum, Karnataka, being undertaken by M/s Gokak Textiles Ltd. The power generated from the project would be used in the textile plant.
