Catalytic control of NOx emissions using waste derived oxide supported transition metals catalyst
September 1, 2008 to November 21, 2010
| Completed Project
Certain oxide and oxide supported transition metals are used as catalysts for NOx reduction. An economically attractive option for obtaining such catalysts is from wastes. For instance, red mud which is a waste obtained during processing of aluminium ore bauxite is rich in Fe2O3 and is a potential catalyst.
