Catalytic control of NOx emissions using waste derived oxide supported transition metals catalyst

Certain oxide and oxide supported transition metals are used as catalysts for NOx reduction. An economically attractive option for obtaining such catalysts is from wastes. For instance, red mud which is a waste obtained during processing of aluminium ore bauxite is rich in Fe2O3 and is a potential catalyst.

TERI prepared the detailed pre feasibility report for 200 MW wind power project of GSPCL in Gujarat. Prepared tender documents for the same and evaluated the bids recieved from various wind farm developers. Based on the bid evaluation final recommendation is given to GSPC for the implementation of first 50 MW project in the initial stage.
