Projects supported by NABARD on the demonstration of mussel and crab farming actively engage and encourage the local fishing communities to undertake mariculture, as an adaptive measure to overcome the impacts of climate change and increasing anthropogenic activities, as well as providing options for livelihood diversification and stimulating healthy socio economic development in the area.
Tomato is one of the most significant vegetable crops grown worldwide. However, important traits such as pollen meiosis, germination, ovule development, viability and development of the embryo and fruit set of most tomato cultivars are adversely affected under temperatures higher than 35°C. This leads to non-availability in certain months.

The objective of the project is to estimate co-benefits of the GHG mitigation strategies on air quality, human health and agricultural productivity. This calls for the following: a) Preparation of high-resolution emission inventory based on energy modelling results of the MARKAL/TIMES model for the policy scenarios developed under the on-going WRI/TERI study.
The study aims to engineer Nodulation signal perception mechanism in rice plant. This is a critical step in paving way for the development of N2-fixing symbiosis in this cereal crop to enable it to synthesise its own nitrogen fertiliser for its growth, akin to legumes.
The Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB) regularly monitors the qualitative state of the water resources across the state as well as the air quality across various locations in the state. TERI has been extending support to the State Pollution Control Board in sorting and analyzing the data sets whilst developing graphical and spatial illustrations.
These resins will be biocompatible and can be used as dental restoratives. These materials will have good wear characteristics and enhanced mechanical properties. In this study, alkoxy silane will be used along with a mixture of dimethacrylates.
The project aims to study these hot mix and CRRI-Bitchem cold mix technology applications for rural road construction and maintenance works in India in order to estimate and compare their life cycle cost, energy consumption, GHG and criteria pollutants generation, material consumption, impacts on safety and health of construction workers and population, road maintenance requirements, and projec
