Indian and European air quality experts will gather to brainstorm around possible preventive and mitigation actions for air pollution emissions in India, and will strive to find solutions to improve the local air quality, at a two-day conference on the ' EU India Air Quality Initiative' on May 21 & 22, 2018 at Hotel Grand, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi. The workshop is being organised by AETS, France along with TERI, and is supported by the European Union (EU) and the Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change (MoEFCC).

Bangalore, March 8, 2018: TERI, a leading think tank dedicated to conducting research for sustainable development in India and the Global South, organised a two-day 'Sustainable Buildings R&D Summit' in Bangalore to pave the way for research and innovations around the built environment. It showcased technologies and best practices, such as pre-cast construction and radiant cooling technologies, implemented by pioneering organisations to save resources in design, construction, and operation of large infrastructures.
Fiji signs Declaration of Partnership with TERI

New Delhi, February 17, 2018: The Ministry of Local Government, Housing and Environment(MLGHE), Government of Fiji today signed a Declaration of Partnership with The Energy and Resources Institute(TERI). The Declaration provides a framework for technical collaboration and assistance by TERI to measure, manage, support and pilot activities and models towards achieving Fiji's environmental protection objectives as well as Fiji's Nationally Determined Contributions under the Paris Agreement.
Energy Transitions Commission India launched

The Energy Transitions Commission India (ETC India) was launched today by The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) on the sidelines of the World Sustainable Development Summit (WSDS) 2018. ETC India is a unique, high-level, multi-stakeholder platform on energy and electricity sector transitions in India. In the first year of inception, ETC India will focus on policy, research and outreach on decarbonising the power sector.

Themed 'Partnerships for a Resilient Planet', WSDS 2018 aims to create action frameworks to resolve some of the most urgent challenges facing developing economies in the backdrop of climate change.
