TERI convenes high-level discussions on climate resilience alongside sharing of grassroots solutions for biodiversity, land restoration and sustainable development
Guwahati, 9 September 2026: The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), in partnership with the UNDP Small Grants Programme (SGP-India), convened a Result Sharing Workshop at Gauhati University on “Indigenous Traditional Knowledge, Clean Energy & Grassroots Innovation to Policy Solutions for Biodiversity, Climate Resilience and Land Restoration in Assam & Meghalaya.”

More than 150 community farmers, grassroots practitioners, NGO representatives, resource persons and development professionals gathered at Gauhati University on Tuesday as a two-day national conference began with discussions on how Indigenous Traditional Knowledge, clean energy and grassroots innovations can contribute to biodiversity conservation, climate resilience and sustainable livelihoods in Assam and Meghalaya.
