The Global Center for Food Systems Innovation (GCFSI) brings together the specialized technical expertise of a team of international organizations round the globe under one umbrella. This USAID funded project is a cost-effective and innovative partnership with the Michigan State University (MSU), USAID Washington.
The aim of the study is preparation of tourism satellite accounts for Himachal Pradesh, to measure the goods and services associated with tourism according to international standards, concepts, classifications and definitions.
There were some fundamental problems in the apple growing regions of Himachal Pradesh spanning from scarcity of water, absence of good agricultural practices, absence of technological solutions, ineffective management of apple orchards, absence of quality training and capacity building.
TERI in association with KAS proposes to organize the third in a series of five dialogues on environmental governance for sustainable development focused on different ecosystems of the country. This dialogue will consider the case of the coastal and marine ecosystems and focus on the Indian coastal region and islands. The dialogue will take place at Goa during 5-7 April, 2013.

An important objective of this programme is to build capacities for Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) in order to reach the people who are best placed to help implement a sustainable development approach in schools, not only in lessons but also as a form of school development.
The key objective of this consultancy is to determine whether the project objectives set in terms of expected outcomes and outputs using various criteria and indicators as defined primarily in the project appraisal document and supervision missions' aide memoires are being met.
This would involve the following:
Water4Crops project involves multidisciplinary issues of water management, provides an opportunity to efficiently utilize low quality industrial (food) and municipal wastewater and facilitate developing various technologies for wastewater treatment and its feasible use in agriculture.
A child-friendly and activity oriented project, E for Energy Efficiency will reach out to students in the age group of 8 to 12. The project will cover approximately 20 schools from two locations, i.e. Mumbai and Bangalore.
The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) and Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) together are hosting a workshop on 19 November 2012. The workshop will consist of a series of panel discussions featuring experts from India and Germany deliberating various issues related to a green and inclusive economy in India.
