The objective of the project is to provide GRIHA comprehensive services with documentation and facilitation for the proposed office of Oil India Limited’s (OIL) Center of Excellence for Energy Studies (CoEES) in Guwahati, India.
TERI is developing Nationally Appropriate Mitigation Actions (NAMAs) in the buildings sector for Indonesia, Thailand, The Philippines and Vietnam. The project will assist the countries in recognizing the significant mitigation potential of the building section, identify and recommend actions for development in the NAMAs, provide MRV (measurement, reporting and verification) tools and an overall framework to support NAMA development by the countries.
The Government of India is setting up a permanent campus for Indian Institute of Technology at Bhillai, Chhattisgarh. The client intends to achieve the highest standards in sustainable campus development. Therefore, they intend to apply for green rating under GRIHA Large Development rating system. In this respect, TERI, as a green consultant, is assisting in green building design consultancy and to obtain the minimum 3 star certification as per GRIHA Large Development rating system.
TERI has designed and commissioned a geothermal-based heat pump system for space cooling and heating in Arunachal Pradesh as a pilot technology demonstration at the Science Center. The current project is the replication of the earlier successful demonstration at Kimin General Hospital with an additional solar PV system.
The project aims to provide Indian building market with external shading products that can reduce direct solar heat gain inside a building by more than 75%, while allowing natural daylight; and to design and demonstrate the potential of low energy radiant slab cooling, integrated with natural heat sinks and establish their operational mechanism for optimum comfort and energy efficiency.
The project involves providing consultancy services, facilitation for documentation and commissioning for LEED NC and GRIHA for an upcoming hotel Cidade-de-Goa.
In order to address energy efficiency in existing buildings, United Technologies and TERI entered into a partnership to set up a Centre of Excellence on building energy diagnostics and evaluation for improving energy efficiency in existing buildings.
The main objectives of setting up this Centre of Excellence include:
(i) development of energy use reporting framework for the existing building sector;
The proposed residential campus envisages incorporation of green building design concepts at all levels. It is a vision of RSP Design Consultants (India) Pvt. Ltd to achieve best standards in green building design through the design intervention. TERI is the consultant for Green building design consultancy and GRIHA facilitation for the same.
Kalpana Chawla Government Medical College is an upcoming institutional campus located at Karnal, Haryana. The project consists of two buildings: (1) institutional building; and (2) OPD building. TERI will provide GRIHA consultancy as well as the final documentation of GRIHA certification.
