TERI has undertaken socio-economic and environmental impact study of e-Bus services in Panaji. Under the Panaji Smart City e-bus project, Kadamba Transport Corporation Limited (KTCL) has deployed 48 electric buses on internal routes and the outer circle of the city as a step towards decarbonizing the public transport sector. Imagine Panaji Smart City Development Limited (IPSCDL) has funded for 22 EVs and 26 EVs are procured from the funds allotted by the Central Government under Goa@60.
To address the persistent malnutrition and livelihood challenges in the ST communities of Mokhada, two training sessions on Oyster Mushroom and Azolla cultivation were organized as part of the DST-funded project "Innovative Interventions in Mokhada Block of Palghar District to Combat Malnutrition and Enhance Livelihoods of ST Communities." Held on March 3rd and 4th, 2025, at Burangewadi and Pawarpada respectively, the workshops were led by Mr. Manish Asodekar and Dr.
The Watershed Development Component of Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana (WDC-PMKSY) is a flagship Centrally Sponsored Scheme initiated in 2015-16 to transform India's rainfed and degraded landscapes. In December 2021, the Government of India launched the second phase, WDC-PMKSY 2.0, extending the project period through 2026. This evolved framework shifts focus toward biological measures and integrated ecological restoration.
