Schoolchildren stay well informed about the importance of energy and its conservation through sources such as books, magazines, television and field visits. However, many of them remain unaware of how they can contribute to the initiative of conservation of resources. Awareness is the key factor to take action, as it provides schoolchildren information which is necessary to ensure their participation in resource conservation.

The overall objective of the assignment is to identify energy saving opportunities in steel industries using reheating furnaces in Indonesia.
The specific objectives of the project are the following:
1. To assess the performance of steel reheating furnaces in terms of (a) scale of operation, (b) products manufactured, (c) fuel consumption, and (d) process technology.
2. To identify energy efficient technology and best operating practices that can be implemented to save energy and reduce GHG emissions.

The objectives of the workshop are to:
Share knowledge and experience about heat pump technology and its use in heating and cooling requirements; and
Help industries and building owners make use of the technology in their plants and buildings.

The objective of this project is to conduct a feasibility study regarding the application of Japanese compressed air technology in the Indian industry.
The project is intended to carry out in-depth study of predominant 7 types of clamp kilns mainly in peninsular states of India in consultation with CPCB for evaluation and improvement in design of clamp kilns used for brick manufacturing.
The main objective of the proposed study is to document and report the green building initiatives for affordable housing. The sub objectives are: -Document Best Practices providing valuable insights through case studies for strengthening capacity building initiatives -Identify green building features that can be adopted and replicated in the affordable housing projects. -Assess and appraise parameters for green building financing. -Policy inputs to integrate green building features in affordable housing.
The overall objective of the project is to reduce energy consumption with consequent reduction of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions of industrial sector in India. The specific objective of the project is to identify suitable low carbon energy-efficient technologies that are commercially available in industrialized country, viz. Japan and to facilitate their diffusion among large industries including designated consumers (DCs) in India.
The objective of this study is to carry out a detailed analysis of the identified clusters with a view to identify non financial gaps and suggest appropriate measures to achieve the desired situation. The major focus will be on non-financial issues, infrastructure and marketing.
