Testing and long-term performance evaluation of SPV lighting systems

The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), GoI has sanctioned funds to TERI for carrying out long-term performance evaluation and development of new designs of Solar Lighting Systems in TERI's Solar Lighting Laboratory located in the TERI University campus. TERI has been conducting extensive testing and evaluation of a wide variety of Solar Lighting Systems with the commitment to evaluate and find cost-effective and cutting-edge solar lighting solutions largely as a part of its Lighting a Billion Lives' initiative. The recently sanctioned project, spanning two years, also includes conducting training workshops and publishing best-practices documents on solar lighting.
