Sustainable settlements in peri-urban areas: with special reference to impacts of transport and energy on natural resources management

This project seeks to build a set of policy options for sustainable settlements in peri-urban areas through networking among the actors engaged with the PUI (peri-urban interface), with specific reference to the impacts of energy and transport. The overall objective of this project is to bring together local communities, researchers, and responsible authorities at the local and national levels to identify alternative set of policy options to achieve sustainable settlements.
