Environment Education and Awareness Programme for Secondary School Students of Thane Municipal Corporation Schools
1. To create awareness among students and teachers about their local environment through fun-n-learn activities.
2. Capacity building of grassroots NGOs on the local environmental issues and train them to effectively disseminate the knowledge to students and teachers.
3. To sensitise students about the local environmental issues and encourage them to work on short-term projects that can make a positive difference to the environment.
4. Organise an environment festival at the end of the project giving a common platform to highlight the activities, artworks and projects of the students.
