Development of tailor made nanozeolite carrier for slow release and targeted delivery of nitrogen for sustainable crop production

The project aims to develop technology for highly efficacious nitrogenous fertilizer using the tailor made mesoporous nanozeolite carrier that can enable the slow release and targeted delivery of the nitrogen. This innovative technology, once established can supplement currently used nitrogenous fertilizers with economic and efficacious approach, providing high quality and smart nitrogenous fertilizer product that will be more stable to leaching, volatilization and denitrification, slow release nature and able to target nitrogen only in the rhizosphere zone for crop cultivation purposes.
