Climate Finance Study for India

The objective of the project is to support the Climate Change Finance Unit, Economic Division, DEA under the Ministry of Finance for its climate finance discourse at international representations. It is realized that the current definition of climate finance is not conducive to supporting India with its climate goals and the international climate finance is coming much shorter than required. To address this issue, TERI will research and develop a study with the objective of understanding the key challenges with international climate finance and what is required from the upcoming negotiations to make this more effective in enabling enhanced climate ambition.
