Brahmaputra Symposium: Knowledge beyond Disciplines

Brahmaputra River Symposium 2017 is structured around the theme Knowledge Beyond Borders. By bringing together expertise from the four riparian countries (Bangladesh, Bhutan, India and China) as well as international river basins such as Nile, Mekong, and Murray-Darling ¿ the workshop aims to: (i) deliberate upon and identify real world solutions to managing complex transboundary river basins; and (ii) bridge the science-policy gap by creating a network of academics, water practitioners, civil society and policy makers ¿ who share the vision on realizing the economic potential of the Brahmaputra Basin.
