The main objectives of this project are to:
(1) Work with Energy Efficiency Services Limited, EESL and other partners on making available affordable in India super-efficient room AC with lower-GWP refrigerants which will be successful.
(2) Work with EESL and others on expanding the benefits of the procurement in India to Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, which has the added benefit of increasing the economy of scale of procurements.
(3) Work with EESL on replicating the EESL procurement in other regions, particularly Latin America, where work is already underway.
