Assess the Cost of Rangeland Degradation, Deforestation, and Desertification in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

The overall objective of this project is to support the World Bank to develop a set of technical activities to deliver the following outputs to MEWA (Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture), Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia: 

(i) assessment of the costs of rangeland degradation and desertification; and 

(ii) identification and analysis of measures for restoration for rangelands to respond to the risk of degradation and desertification, and assessment of economic and ecosystem services from rangeland restoration.
