Analytical support in preparation of first national communication of OPEC (Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries) member countries

1. Review the applicability of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change methodology for the preparation of national greenhouse gas inventories to OPEC member countries 2. Address several important issues for the preparation of the first national communications of OPEC countries (e.g. emission factors, gas flaring and venting and identify the pros and cons from the perspective of subsequent GHG reduction requirements.
