Rashmi Murali is a Fellow at the Centre for Social Research and CSR at TERI. With over a decade of experience at TERI, she has led and contributed to diverse projects spanning renewable energy, gender mainstreaming, the water-energy-food nexus, waste management, and eco-tourism. Her core expertise lies in bridging technical solutions with social impact through rigorous primary and secondary research, qualitative analysis, and comprehensive documentation. She is particularly recognized for her extensive engagement with grassroots communities, including smallholder farmers, coastal populations, traditional artisans, and women’s SHGs.
A prolific researcher, she has co-authored numerous publications on gender equality, energy access, and sustainability in peer-reviewed journals and books. Ms Murali holds Master’s degrees in both Physics and Renewable Energy Technology, providing her with a robust technical foundation to address complex sustainability challenges.
