TERI Press, the publishing arm of The Energy and Resources Institute, today launched a book on environmental studies authored by Dr Arun K Tripathi, Advisor in the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Government of India.
The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), an independent, not-for-profit research institute, brought together multiple stakeholder groups to deliberate on the need and importance of access to Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) for all to accelerate sustainable development in the north-east region of India. The dialogue was attended by senior representatives from government organizations, think-tanks and top Indian conglomerates and saw deliberations that focused on the theme, "Localising the Post-2015 Development Agenda - Water and Sanitation for All."
"Mr Darbari Seth established TERI as a tool for transition to clean energy. He practiced what he preached. TERI's research work today is aimed at producing solutions that create a transformative impact. Our work carries forward the philosophy, vision and values of Mr Seth, said Dr Ajay Mathur, Director General, TERI. He was speaking on the occasion of the 15th Darbari Seth Memorial Lecture, organized by TERI today.

The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), ranked globally as one of the five most impactful think tanks by the International Center for Climate Governance Ranking 2016, today announced the 2016 edition of its flagship event, World Sustainable Development Summit (WSDS). Themed 'Beyond 2015: People, Planet & Progress,' the Summit assumes critical significance in the background of the adoption of Sustainable Development Goals and signing of the landmark Paris Agreement last year. The Summit will be held from October 5-8 in New Delhi.
