The objectives of this project are to promote (i) sustainable production of energy for export of surplus electrical power for national grid through replication of existing high pressure cogeneration technologies in the sugar sector and; (ii) sustainable consumption of bagasse by supporting sugar mills in adoption of high pressure cogeneration technology.
TERI has established a Solar Lighting Laboratory (SLL), one of the foremost laboratories in India, complying with the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) standards for the testing of solar lighting systems (SLS).

The objective of this study is to carry out a detailed analysis of the identified clusters with a view to identify non financial gaps and suggest appropriate measures to achieve the desired situation. The major focus will be on non-financial issues, infrastructure and marketing.

The course “Sustainable Energy Solution” is organized jointly by TERI University (TU) and The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) in New Delhi. The objective of this course is to address some of key issues of energy, climate change and sustainable development. The participants will comprise select mid-level officials from different countries.
MPCB records and published data for water quality monitoring in Maharashtra. This report shall present the data for fiscal year 2011-12 in a very lucid and illustrative manner. The report shall also present the water quality index across the state of Maharashtra.
HI-AWARE, one of the four consortia of the Collaborative Adaptation Research Initiative in Africa and Asia (CARIAA), is conducting high calibre research and pilot activities, capacity building and policy engagement on climate resilience and adaptation in the mountains and flood plains of the Indus, Ganges, and Brahmaputra river basins.
TERI proposes to demonstrate decentralised looming of jute using biomass gasifier based clean power solutions. To demonstrate this concept the project will take initiatives to establish two pilot processing- cum-decentralised jute business service centres with creation of micro entrepreneurs for decentralised jute looming in the target villages Bardrakoti and Amor of Purnea.
Under its CSR (corporate social responsibility) initiative, Power System Operation Corporation Limited (POSOCO) has embarked on setting up energy-based projects, which aid the energy needs of those areas that are in requirement of it. TERI has been working in the field of energy access for over 20 years.
