India's Solar Journey

India's National Solar Mission was initiated in 2010 when the country's solar power capacity was minimal. It has been a transformative journey as India now has the fourth largest solar power capacity in the world, yet more needs to be done to encourage generation and use of solar power, says Mr Ajay Shankar, Distinguished Fellow, TERI.
