India has successfully achieved greater momentum in the development of solar power. India now has over 87GW installed solar capacity, which is over four times what it had wanted to achieve by 2022 when it launched its National Solar Mission, says Mr Ajay Shankar, Distinguished Fellow, TERI; Mr Gaetan Masson, CEO, Becquerel Institute; and Mr Alekhya Datta, Fellow and Associate Director, Electricity and Renewables Division, TERI.
