CEO Forum at WSDS 2025

At the last edition of WSDS 2024, TERI CBS organized two convenings – A High level Convening of Industry Charter for Near Zero Emissions by 2050, and Chief Sustainability Officers (CSO) Forum. The high-level convening of industry charter showcased the anniversary report ‘Practices and Solutions: Accelerating Indian Industry Decarbonisation’. While the CSO Forum concluded with identification of two key action agenda points for TERI and the sustainability officers to take up immediately to address the various challenges at corporate and value chain level towards mainstreaming ESG considerations within an organization and across its value chain, which includes the development of:

• A Guidance document for corporates on operationalizing sustainability in value chain towards integrating and institutionalizing sustainability across their value chain
• A Guidance framework on key skills and competencies of sustainability practitioners for driving corporate sustainability performance within and beyond an organization’s boundaries

With the theme of “Partnerships for Accelerating Sustainable Development and Climate Solutions,”, the CEO Forum at WSDS 2025 sets the perfect stage for industry leaders to engage in forward-looking discussions on sustainability leadership. The forum will act as crucial platform for CEOs and senior executives to explore strategies that enhance climate resilience and sustainable business practices through meaningful collaborations.
