World Wetland Day Celebration 2022: Wetlands Action for People and Nature

Each year February 2 is observed as World Wetlands Day celebrating the adoption of the Ramsar Convention for the conservation of wetlands and raising global awareness around their importance of both for humans and the environment.

This year the World Wetlands Day is being observed under the theme of "Wetlands Action for People and Nature". To help generate more awareness around wetlands and the critical role they play, TERI in collaboration with Navi Mumbai Environment Preservation Society (NMEPS) organized a quiz competition from 19 - 28 January, 2022.
