Smart Researcher: Leveraging AI Tools Across the Research Lifecycle

Recognising the importance of equipping TERI researchers with emerging digital competencies to stay aligned with research advancements, KRC organised a webinar titled "Smart Researcher: Leveraging AI Tools Across the Research Lifecycle'', on 18 November 2025. The webinar was designed to build awareness and strengthen the capacity of TERI researchers, in effectively integrating artificial intelligence (AI) into their research workflows.

The resource person of the session Dr Reeta Sharma, Fellow at KRC emphasised on the transformative impact of AI-driven technologies on every phase of the research lifecycle such as topic selection, literature review, data analysis, writing, and dissemination. She also pointed out critical factors on AI ethics, transparency, data privacy, etc., and the proper application of generative AI.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation, with researchers deliberating on the importance of establishing an AI policy for TERI. The prospects AI presents for improving efficiency in evolving research environment.
