TERI EIACP (The Environmental Information, Awareness, Capacity Building, and Livelihood Programme) has successfully conducted 32 residential Green Skill Development Programmes across India, focusing on solar energy and waste management. These training programs have helped approximately 50% of the participants secure jobs, while some have ventured into entrepreneurship, contributing to a greener economy.
These programs emphasize green skills, which are essential for preserving and restoring environmental quality. They promote careers that protect ecosystems, enhance biodiversity, reduce energy consumption, and minimize waste and pollution, aligning with Mission LiFE’s vision for a sustainable future.
With the solar energy sector booming, skilled professionals are in high demand. This webinar aims to empower trained students by providing insights into India's evolving solar landscape. Participants will explore key government initiatives, such as the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana, which encourages solar adoption.
