Training on Identifying and Mitigating Risks for Biogas Projects
Invitation to Participate in Training on Identifying and Mitigating Risks for Biogas Projects
July 11 at 3 p.m. IST; Virtually
TERI in association with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) is organising a virtual training on identifying and mitigating financial and technical risks of biogas projects.
The goal of this training is to provide participants with an in-depth understanding of the importance of risk analysis in biogas projects, including a demonstration of how to use the Risk Analysis Checklist for Biogas Projects to identify and mitigate risks associated with biogas projects. The Risk Analysis Checklist for Biogas Projects provides “best practices” for designing, implementing, and evaluating anaerobic digestion (AD)/biogas projects.
In addition, the training will demonstrate how to use the Anaerobic Digestion Screening Tool, to estimate biogas and energy production potential from different feedstocks.
The training will be delivered by TERI and Abt Associates who have extensive knowledge in biogas projects and risk analysis. The training will cover topics such as how to assess risks around biogas project feedstocks, outputs, operations, and financial feasibility.
This training will be highly beneficial for biogas project stakeholders in India, including loan providers and project developers, who are involved in the funding and implementation of biogas projects. We encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity to enhance your knowledge and skills in this field.
