International conference on Nanobiotechnology for agriculture: Translational research for future food and agriculture technologies
The third international conference of Nanobiotechnology for Agriculture is being held on the theme Translational Research for Future Food and Agriculture Technologies. The conference has an innovative programme amalgamating scientific sessions and a capacity building programme for scientists to aid them in undertaking translational research in nanobiotechnology.
Day 1 will host thematic scientific sessions on nanotechnology-based strategies being implemented to enhance crop production, crop protection, diagnostics and food preservation. Domain experts from across the nation will deliver talks on the session themes. Day 2 is dedicated to 'Capacity building for Translational Research’. The scientific and capacity building programme has been specifically aligned to allow early career and mid-career principal investigators and associates to interface with one another and empower them with the right knowledge to adapt their research for maximum impact. It also intends to help them transition into a new career in the translational research platform.
