TERI, in collaboration with the Goa State Pollution Control Board, has released a new video titled "Act Now, Sustain Tomorrow." The video was unveiled by the Honorable Chief Minister of Goa, Dr. Pramod Sawant, alongside key representatives from TERI, including Souvik Bhattacharjya, Ashwini Pai Panandiker, and Vani Pandey.

The video highlights the urgent need to adopt sustainable practices to protect the environment. It particularly focuses on the harmful effects of plastic consumption and reliance on fossil fuels, advocating for a shift toward eco-friendly alternatives like infinitely recyclable aluminum cans. A TERI study mentioned in the video shows that aluminum cans have the highest recycling rate and the lowest global warming potential compared to other beverage packaging. The video reinforces the "reduce, reuse, recycle" ethos and promotes initiatives such as cleanup drives, afforestation, and biodiversity conservation, envisioning a future where nature thrives through collective action.

In his remarks, Dr. Pramod Sawant commended TERI's efforts, stating that their work is essential for guiding Goa toward a sustainable and greener future. He acknowledged that TERI's initiatives are establishing a new benchmark for environmental responsibility, contributing to lasting positive change across the state.
