The 8th Energy Research Institute Network (ERIN) Workshop - Energy Transition in Asia; Gaps and Risks
14 July 2023 at Juniper Hall, India Habitat Centre, New Delhi from 10:30 am- 4:00 pm (IST)
It has become clear that the modern energy system is not only causing climate change problems, but also contains vulnerabilities in terms of stable energy supply. Therefore, there is an ever-greater need to make the energy supply-demand structure sustainable and resilient, as it is indispensable for all economic activities and daily life. Against this backdrop, Asian countries are transforming their energy structures, but at the same time, they are facing various challenges.
Energy Research Institute Network (ERIN), in collaboration with Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA) and The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), is organizing its 8th workshop on ‘Energy Transition in Asia; Gaps and Risks’ on 14 July 2023 at Juniper Hall, India Habitat Centre, New Delhi from 10:30 am- 4:00 pm (IST).
As India is holding the presidency of the G20 in 2023, this hybrid workshop serves as a reference for energy and environment discussions at the G20. The workshop will feature discussions by experts from Asia and around the world regarding Energy Transition in Asia.
