A report released recently by TERI and Maharashtra Pollution Control Board states that there is phenomenal increase in pollution levels of the water bodies in Navi Mumbai. The report also points to high levels of pollution in mangroves at Kamothe, marshes near Khandeshwar station, Wadale lake and Owe dam in Kharghar.
