India’s EV charging app to skip personal data collection

The government's upcoming EV charging app will focus on privacy, using only aggregated, anonymised data while avoiding collection of personal or transaction details. Road Transport and Highways Minister Mr Nitin Gadkari said India can transform from being an energy importer to a global exporter if it can cut the cost of hydrogen production to one dollar per kilogramme.
