Ms Shivani Sharma, Associate Fellow, TERI said the problem persists despite the increasing use of CNG. 72% of buses in Delhi run on CNG, 17% of cars use CNG. Three-wheelers and LCVs have been completely converted to CNG. There is a need to increase public transport and accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles to reduce vehicular pollution.
