A novel bioprocess development for lignin-rich bio-residue valorization to produce high-value/high-volume biochemicals and bioproducts. The model developed here will improve the sustainability of the 2G ethanol technology and offer an alternative solution to mitigate environmental pollution from rice straw burning in the fields. The detailed LCA and TEA of the optimized bench-scale bioprocess will evaluate the carbon footprint and economic viability of the technology.
Scoping and needs assessment related to environmental technologies for reduction of air pollution in three selected cities

However, this trend has seen a major reversal in recent years with the growth of the trucking industry. Although the freight turnaround has been on a rise, the share of Railways in total land freight transport has come down from 39% in 2000-01 to 26% in 2017-18 and is likely to decline in near future.
