TERI - Hindustan Zinc Limited Partnership for Waste land Reclamation

Hindustan Zinc is the World’s largest and India’s only integrated zinc producer. The organization has collaborated with TERI for the development of a green belt over Jarofix Dump Site 2 at CLZS Chanderiya, Rajasthan. The project aims restoration of industrial wasteland using mycorrhizal technology to transform environmentally hazardous waste site into biologically active and ecologically stable area, contributing to sustainable land management and environmental protection. TERI’s technology plays a significant role in plantation and green cover thereby contributing towards sustainable land management and ecological restoration.
