TERI-SDC Partnership: Scaling up Energy Efficient Technologies in Small Enterprises (EESE) in India

The overall goals of the projects are -

  • to enhance energy-efficiency of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector, and
  • to see that energy consumption and greenhouse gas emission of the sector is reduced sustainably

The outcomes include

  • enabling policy environment and programmes to facilitate/stimulate the uptake of energy-efficient technologies in the MSME sector
  • use of energy-efficient technologies/practices in the foundry sector expanding beyond the directly project-supported MSMEs
  • promote usage of energy-efficient technologies/ practices by other MSME sub-sectors such as aluminium and induction furnaces
