Study on energy conservation in India - Phase 3
The project will study Japanese energy consumption statistic survey system as a reference case and possibilities of introducing the same in India. It will also interact with BEE focussing on the e-filing system for collection of energy consumption details of the designated consumers.
The project will also focus on cement, pulp and paper and aluminium sectors for assessing the energy conservation opportunities and identifying areas of colleaboration between India and Japan.
The project will analyse the challenges of collecting energy consumption details from the MSME sector in India. It will study the efficiency of agricultural pump sets in India to assess the energy conservation potential.
