Assessment of technological options for conversion of potential/existing biomass resources to liquid fuels
The objectives of the project include:
Detailed review of technological options and identifying the most suitable technical options for the existing biomass resource.
Shortlist districts in terms of potential/ existing biomass resource availability based on Phase-I study.
Detailed biomass assessment study in the short-listed districts.
A pre-feasibility study for setting up commercial BTL plant subsuming the whole value chain, from collection of feedstock to synthesis of liquid fuels.
