Mr Kiran Kumar Alla is a Senior Fellow and Director at TERI’s Institute of Energy Transition (IoET), Hyderabad. He has over 28 years of experience across the manufacturing, learning and development, and energy sector. His previous roles include leadership positions at Plug Power, Bloom Energy, BSES Rajdhani Power, and Reliance Power Transmission, where he contributed significantly to clean energy adoption, the development of green hydrogen ecosystems, and engagement with regulatory bodies.
Mr Alla leads the Institute of Energy Transition in Hyderabad, driving research, projects, and collaborations in the energy sector with a focus on advancing sustainable, forward-looking energy solutions aligned with TERI’s mission.
He holds a management qualification from the Indian School of Business (ISB) and has collaborated extensively with government agencies, think tanks, and industry partners to promote sustainable energy solutions. He is also a mentor to climate tech startups and serves on technical committees focused on innovation and sustainability.
