Cycling is one of the most sustainable modes of transportation. It has numerous benefits in the form of zero dependence on fossil fuels, zero emissions and pollution, health benefits from increased physical activity, besides being an affordable means of mobility for low-income households.
In this project TERI would facilitate green building design consultancy and GRIHA certification and achieve the best standards in green building design consultancy and GRIHA rating. The site is located in Bangalore and the office complex has a total built up area of 4984 sq.m. The building will encompass office cabin, conference rooms, meeting rooms, technical and non-technical rooms. The client is intending to achieve the best standards in green building design and rating as per GRIHA rating. The total area considered for rating will be 2613 sq.m.
The objective of this project is to compile a directory/database for energy-efficient building materials and a policy roadmap to guide formulation, enforcement and monitoring of labels, in the residential sector, through market forces.
The main objective of this project is to produce three policy modules in the areas of health and air pollution policy in India under the direction of the leadership team of the Collaborative Clean Air Policy Research Centre.

TERI undertakes first-of-its-kind audit for South Delhi
A major concern of air pollution in Delhi is the road dust that is generated as suspended particles during cleaning the roads. Traditionally, sweeping of roads is done manually, which causes the dust to remain floating in the air for some time, thus increasing the amount of suspended particulate matter (SPM) in the air.
The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), India, in collaboration with the University of New South Wales (UNSW) Sydney, Australia, is organizing workshops on 'Smart Energy Management for Sustainable Cities’ as part of the Australia-India Knowledge Exchange partnership. The two workshops being organized in Delhi and Sydney will bring together knowledge and expertise to discuss and address challenges and strategies for mainstreaming smart energy management in cities.
The objective of the project is to provide GRIHA comprehensive services with documentation and facilitation for the proposed office of Oil India Limited’s (OIL) Center of Excellence for Energy Studies (CoEES) in Guwahati, India.
The electrification of road transport sector can be one of the pathways to reduce dependence on fossil fuel, and mitigate vehicular pollution. While there are several technologies like hybrid EV, plug-in hybrid vehicles, all electric/battery EV and fuel cell vehicles that can help achieve these objectives, this paper focuses only on all-electric/battery EV, with specific attention to passenger vehicles only.
