The project aims to help implement clear and practical complexity-based modelling appraisals solutions for informing decision-making and planning for low-carbon innovation, and technological change.
The objectives of this project are:
(i) Identify thrust areas for energy and water conservation;
(ii) Identify the ways and means to waste minimization and recycling potential.
The main objective of this project is to overcome the lack of detailed planning for high renewables systems in at least two key states over the course of the project by developing demand, supply, grid integration and infrastructure analysis for two states. The overall objective is to support a policy and market environment that allows India to achieve around 450 GW of RE by 2030, or a share of zero carbon electricity above 45%.
The study focuses on mapping of MSME sub-sectors - 'Chemical' from energy perspective. It involves an in-depth study of existing energy consumption scenario and identification of opportunities for energy/resource saving. The study results will be used for knowledge dissemination and development of a roadmap to make Chemical MSME sub-sectors in the country energy- as well as resource-efficient, and environment-friendly.
The Responsible Energy Initiative is a futures-led collaborative inquiry into how the renewable energy sector in India and Asia can scale in an ecologically safe and socially just way
The aim of the project is to improve the lives of people living in rural communities of Mukteshwar, India, and Mumbachala, Ngabwe District, Zambia. The work will involve providing secure access to affordable electricity, assess social inclusion and gender equality benefits to local communities.
The Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), with guidance of ECCJ and support of TERI, has prepared the Energy Conservation (EC) Guidelines for Indian industry sector covering both large, as well as small-scale industries. Based on EC Guidelines, select Designated Consumers (DCs) have prepared their Energy Management (EM) Manuals. BEE has planned to increase awareness of key stakeholders on EC Guidelines & EM Manuals and develop verification system for compliance with EC Guidelines.
The main objective of electricity industry is to achieve customer satisfaction through generation of electricity of the right quality and quantity at an affordable cost, by several critical tasks that require skilled engineers, supervisors, and managers etc. The technical knowledge and skills pioneered over the years need to be supplemented with applied engineering and managerial skills.
TERI will provide their services as Third Party Quality Assurance Audit Agency on nomination basis for the work of planning, designing, engineering, procurement, supplying, installation, testing, commissioning, and comprehensive operation and maintenance of 4 numbers of 5 MTPD containerized bio-methanation plants for 5 years for treating bio-degradable to generate electricity and enriched organic manure at nominated locations under the jurisdiction of NDMC.
