The main objective of electricity industry is to achieve customer satisfaction through generation of electricity of the right quality and quantity at an affordable cost, by several critical tasks that require skilled engineers, supervisors, and managers etc. The technical knowledge and skills pioneered over the years need to be supplemented with applied engineering and managerial skills.
TERI will provide their services as Third Party Quality Assurance Audit Agency on nomination basis for the work of planning, designing, engineering, procurement, supplying, installation, testing, commissioning, and comprehensive operation and maintenance of 4 numbers of 5 MTPD containerized bio-methanation plants for 5 years for treating bio-degradable to generate electricity and enriched organic manure at nominated locations under the jurisdiction of NDMC.
TERI will provide their services as Third Party Quality Assurance Audit Agency on nomination basis. The work assignment includes planning, designing, engineering, procurement, supplying, installation, testing, commissioning, and comprehensive operation and maintenance of 6 aerobic drum compost plant. The plant will have capacity 1 TPD each for treating bio-degradable/organic waste at nominated locations under the jurisdiction of NDMC.
The study will cover the various segments pertaining to electric bus implementation in Kolkata; implementation challenges, impact on ridership, operational and charging cost, comparison with conventional buses etc. It will also include the impact on job creation due to these electric buses, and also analyse the reduction in air pollution.
TERI, under this project aims to develop a knowledge base on emerging mitigation options while also creating a deeper understanding amongst key stakeholders on long-term decarbonisation approach in the iron and steel sector.
The overall objective of the proposed study to investigate the potential of different types of biomass in the North Eastern (NE) states of India.
The focus of the project is to bring public and private power distribution companies on a single platform to share business best practices and raise the contemporary challenges towards enabling distribution reforms.
The primary objective of this assignment is to showcase the potential of Floating Solar PV (FSPV) by conducting a mapping exercise to identify the promising sites. Each of these sites is also attached to various relevant parameters such as depth, solar insolation, reservoir area, etc. that will provide the additional information to users and would help in the decision-making process.
