This three year research (April 2007 - March 2010) will, through a focus on India, examine various aspects of developing country capability needed to (i) respond to Nanotechnology (NT) challenges, (ii) engage with NT developments and debates, and (iii) help establish an innovative governance framework. The project is to analyse the rural electrification strategy in the state of Andhara Predesh, Karnataka and Orisse. The study will focus on the efficacy of the RGGVY scheme in addressing the access to rural electrification within these states. In the project especial focus will be on the evaluation of the implemented franchisee/ cooperative models within these three states in-order to identify key factors for their success as well as the barriers being faced by these institutions.National Workshop on Water Conservation and Quality Challenges: Towards Adaptive Strategies

2. Isolation of FT and LFY orthologs from B. rapa, B.nigra and B juncea genomes
3/ Molecular characterization of quanitfying the extent of homology at sequence level
4/ Functional characterization of FT and LFY orthologs form Brassica sps.
