Webinar on 'Technologies for NDC and their SDG linkages (India)'
The effectiveness of the Paris Agreement in achieving its goal rests in individual countries' capabilities to transform their production and consumption patterns into low-carbon development pathways over a long horizon. The groundwork for low-carbon transition beyond current NDC timeframes plays an important role in achieving country's sustainable energy pathways. As part of the framework agreement (NFA) between The Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) and The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), an extensive research study was conducted to develop a database of over 100 technologies relevant for India in addressing climate change.
To share the findings and discuss India's approach on technology for climate change, TERI is organizing a webinar on 'Technologies for NDC and their SDG linkages (India)' on 30 July, 2020 (Thursday) between 16:00 – 17:30 (IST). The webinar focuses on the discussion in steering the intervention of low-carbon technology options, its challenges and future pathways aligned with national interests.
