To develop a sustainable service delivery model for improvements in rural electricity supply through DG and supply of power using renewables sources of energy
In the proposed Energy Audit study the plant equipment / system such as Electrical system, Electric drives, Glass melting furnaces, Annealing Lehrs, Compressed air systems, fans and blowers, pumping system and cooling towers, Lighting (Plant and Residential area) has to be covered.
The project involves laboratory scale experiments for the degradation of chlorinated pesticides namely, Endosulfan and Lindane. Various chemical technologies like Fenton, Photocatalysis, Ozonation, Bimetallic reduction would be tried. The Degradation pathways and intermediates and end products would also be expolred and identified.
Heavy metals reach our air, water, and soil predominantly as a result of industrial activities. Rising levels in soil over a long period are a major concern because of health risks caused even by low degree of exposure. Cadmium, Lead and Mercury has been particularly implicated for adverse effects on health.
The overall objective of the SETatWork proposal is to undertake thematic promotion of energy efficiency and saving technologies in industry sectors connected with the carbon markets Core actions are: (1) Identification of concrete projects in `ETS Companies' (WP3). (2) Matchmaking events bringing market actors together for project realization (WP4).
Certain oxide and oxide supported transition metals are used as catalysts for NOx reduction. An economically attractive option for obtaining such catalysts is from wastes. For instance, red mud which is a waste obtained during processing of aluminium ore bauxite is rich in Fe2O3 and is a potential catalyst.
A1Fi storylines looks into the higher range of emissions and therefore relates to severe impacts. This study seeks to carry out an assessment of these impacts over North India and seeks to suggest measures that help close the feedback loops.
To educate in-service IAS officers on various aspects of regulation and reforms in the infrastructure sector
