TERI is facilitating Reliance Power (Sasan Power Limited) in designing and implementing a wholistic rehabilitation package for project affected families who are displaced as a result of the establishment of an Ultra Megawatt Power Plant in Sasan, MP. The rehabilitation plan addresses local subsistence concerns while developing a long term strategy to develop social and income security.

On farm field trials, value addition, and generation of data for 9(3) registration of TERI-DBT Bollcure biopesticide technology

TERI with the support from DBT has developed bio-pesticide "Bollcure" from Eucalyptus leaf extract. Active principles have been identified and the product has been successfully tested on small plot field trials by ICAR Centers on cotton and chickpea following standard field protocols. Two patents for product and process have been filed. Many companies have shown interest in its commercialization.

Ar. Pramod Chaugule and a contractor Mr. Motilal S. parikh of Maharshtra have shown great interest in making a Green Campus for Police training institute at Sangli. They have gone for sustainable site planning, use of low energy materials, biomass gasifier and use of solar energy systems. The authority wants to get their project rated under TERI GRIHA.
